Sinusitis
It is the inflammation of the cavities in the facial bones that are opened through the nostrils. The symptoms of this disease are nasal congestion, runny nose, headache, post-nasal drainage, cough, breath odor, gashing in the throat.
Sinusitis is treatment as opening the nostrils regarding the nose, ventilation of sinuses and infections.
The first method to preferred in sinusitis is medicines. An operation should not applied to the patient if it can be treated with medicine. Proper antibiotics, nose sprays, respiratory opening drugs, if it is needed then allergia medicines should be used.
Surgical intervention is performed only in patients who have no chance of improving with the medicines.
ENDOSCOPIC SINUS SURGERY
Endoscopic sinus surgery (ESC) is one of the largest number of surgeries today in the treatment of sinus tumors, frontal cranial injuries, trauma-related eye-pore injuries, and visual acuity pressure, especially chronic sinusitis. It can be performed under local or general anesthesia. Surgery is performed using the endoscope through the nostrils.
