He was born in Manisa in 1944. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Manisa. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1969 and started his military service. After he was discharged in 1971, he started working a general practitioner in Soma. Between 1972 and 1975, he got medical field training in ENT Diseases at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and settled in Manisa. He worked at Ege University Medical-Social Services center with the private practice. He retired from Manisa SSI Hospital in 2003, and worked in Vatan Hospital for the following 9.5 years. After this period, he worked in Manisa 8 Eylül Hospital for 4 years and then started his studies in İzmir. He worked at Ekol Hospital for 8 months, and in Gazi Hospital for 9 months. He attended National ENT Congresses and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Courses. He is still performing tonsil, adenoid, nose bone, obstructive mass, ear tube, salivary gland, superficial mass in the head and neck and removal of small masses that disrupt the sound in the vocal cord surgeries.
