Is every headache a symptom for Sinusitis?


Not every headache is necessarily a sign for sinusitis. It is a higher probability that the aches in the face and eye region is related with sinusitis. It might also be useful to consider the possibility of sinusitis in the ache cases when the reason cannot be determined. The reasons that cause headaches are diverse but in the perspective of otorhinolaryngology, the most common reasons are sinusitis, nose deviation, concha hypertrophy, polyps, throat infections, sleep apnea, hypertrophic tonsillar and adenoid, tinnitus, temporomandibular joint deformities, and mass in different regions are the possible reasons of headaches. Thus, it is important to consider the issue with such perspective.
